OUR MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is clear and simple. We are a Nonprofit Organization dedicated to raising funds to help families pay for Cochlear Implant procedures. We aim to raise money through a myriad of events and different types of fundraising activities. We believe here at For the Love of Sound that we can create an environment safe and comfortable for all and carry a message loud enough for all to hear. We are also open to private donations and would be very appreciative to meet with anyone who would like to help us on this great endeavor. We are proud to declare that we don’t keep a penny of the money that we earn and try to give all that we have to help families that are adjusting to this change. We love our deaf and hard-of-hearing community equally. We are here to help those who are learning to live a life with a cochlear implant in a small and simple way.
OUR FOUNDERS | JACK NIEDERHAUSER

Hello - my name is Jackson Niederhauser. I am an undergraduate at Weber State University. I am currently in the Pre-Medical program and will be applying to medical schools in June of 2024. I am driven by helping families and those with the odds stacked against them. For this reason, I have started this Nonprofit Organization to help families with the financial burden that comes with a cochlear implant procedure. Everyone deserves to get to hear the wonderful sounds of life and I want to do my part to make that possible for as many children as possible. I noticed that there were a few people in my neighborhood and personal life and I wanted to learn about what it was like for them to have a life with a cochlear implant. As I listened to their stories I became more and more passionate about what I could do to help them.
OUR FOUNDERS | CESAR CALVILLO

Since a young age, music and dancing has been a huge part of my family's culture and our roots. I am currently pursuing a master's degree in accounting, and have backgrounds working with many other volunteer organizations in the past. I am passionate about helping others, because this life as a whole is a lot less fun living alone, it is only bringing up those around us that we find joy. When Jack shared his feelings about wanting to make an impact for families that are faced with the steep cost of these implants, I knew that I wanted to help in any way I could, because even if we help one family that would be enough for me.
